One of my favorite international couture clothing line, Bless'ed Are The Meek. The co-designers, Maria Maung and Tarek Kourhani, started Bless'ed Are The Meek in 2003. It started off as a small clothing line in Melbourne but in 2009 they ventured to Sydney and that's where everything changed. Maria and Tarek refined their simple vision and produced effortless sexy pieces with artisan crafted details in modern fabrics. In 2011 they tested the waters by venturing to Las Vegas to take part in the designer show "workroom" and the Capsule show in New York. For the first time ever this year they presented their Spring 2012/2013 collection "The Siren" in an individual collection show. They will also be a part of Australia's Mercedes-Benz Fashion week that is coming up April 30- May 04.
reasons but mainly Maria and Tarek know how to make simple look sexy. These days most designer are taking outrageous risks with bold colors and crazy prints. I'm not hating on people like Brian Atwood and Alexander McQueen, their designs are phenomenal, but this season everyone is doing it. Bless'ed Are The Meek don't conform their collections to today's latest trends, they stays true to their roots by designing simple but sexy clothes. Just look at the name of the brand, Bless'ed are the Meek. Don't wear obnoxious clothing to get attention, it's distracting and frankly it's annoying. Humble yourself once in a while and wear an elegant simple piece. Don't conform to the latest trends, wear what you love! Personally, I love Bless'ed Are The Meek. No matter what the occasion is, I always stand out. Their clothes make me feel confident, and confidence is the greatest form of beauty. So keep it simple, wear Bless'ed Are The Meek. The Fashion Addict

Inspired By Mad Men..
There were many rumors about Banana Republic launching a second Mad Men inspired collection this spring.. I am here to confirm those rumors ! This spring, Banana Republic collaborated with the TV shows costume designer, Janie Bryant, to design an elegant, mysterious and sexy new collection. Here are a few pieces from the 40-piece collection. Do you like what you see?

Brian Atwood Fall 2012 Sneak Peak
From what I have seen in the sneak peak it is so far one of the best Spring collections. Incorporating neon colors with bold prints and patterns, Brian does a wonderful job of thinking outside of the box. This year fashion is about standing out, if you find yourself blending into the crowd then get some pieces from Brian Atwood's collection. These accessories are a must and will perfect all of your hottest spring outfits! You will be the best dressed and all eyes will be on you

"This I Believe.."
...were the best dressed at The Academy Awards. On February 26, 2012 ten of our favorite leading ladies took everyones breath away as they walked the red carpet in some of today's hottest designers. Everybodys favorite seemed to be Gywneth Paltrow's white Tom Ford dress. Although elegant, I found it to be plain and not as eye-catching as others. My personal favorite was Stacy Keibler's gold Marchesa. The color was elegant, the shine was eye-catching and off the shoulder was sexy. This combination along with the swirl drawing your eyes to her flawless figure made Stacy the best dressed. Usually it would be hard to be the center of attention next to George Clooney in his Armani suite but Stacy's natural beauty mixed with her exquisite Marchesa dress draws the attention away from Clooney. In this group I would then say that the worst dressed would be Angelina Jolie. Don't get me wrong, her Atelier Versace is beautiful but he dresses to the last few awards shows look very similar. Often times Angelina's dress is the one that I look forward to seeing the most but I am lately disappointed, she needs to pick a different style next time and keep people guessing.

Best Fashion Show of 2011
Last year on November 29, 2011 the 2012 edition of the Victoria's Secret fashion show aired on CBS. Every year Victoria's Secret has the best fashion show. Their show differs from all the rest because Victoria's Secret features outrageously unique and sexy clothing, the most famous supermodels and live performances.
This year they started off the night with an elegant ballet performance to introduce their first collection, Ballet. Throughout the rest of the night they presented five other collections, each one better than the last. Their custom clothing, or the lack of, was all worn by some of the best models in the industry including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Chanel Iman. Not only are these models the most beautiful women you have ever seen but they have great personalities on and off the runway. After watching gorgeous models in sexy clothes have that much fun on the runway for an hour will make almost anyone want to buy their clothes. By far the best collection of the night was Super Angels. The mix between the super hero theme, bold but sexy lingerie, custom designed angel wings and a live performance from Kayne West made it the best part of the entire show. As if this all wasn't enough to make it the best fashion show of the year, there were more live performances from Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5, Kayne West and Jay-z! This was a "can't miss" event so if you haven't seen it yet click here! You know you want to (:

2012 Fashion Trend #2: Pastel Skinny Jeans

This year designers are shaking things up by incorporating pastel colored skinny jeans in their spring/summer collections. With blue jeans we often relay on cute tops, shoes and accessories to spice things up but with all these new unique colors, denim is beginning to take center stage. Don't be afraid to try different colors or print, plain blue jeans are getting boring. Just pair colored jeans with a simple top and edgy shoes.

2011/2012 CT Winter Must Haves
This is a popular item because not only is it a neutral color, but it is easy to take care of and sports the famous"The North Face" logo. It's considered to be a stereotypical "preppy girl" item, though the brand overall is very sporty.

The Long Champ is one of Paris' claims to fame. After becoming popular in Europe, its simple design and mess-free nylon has enticed America as well. Bags have been known to last well over 30 years, are light weight and roomy.

The classic Burberry print is iconic to most of the United States. It's a sign of luxury, wealth and sophistication.

Dark jeans go with everything and hide stains just as well. They can be tucked into boots, rolled up or worn with alone. While not always the most flattering on everyone, it's a trend that is here to stay.

Short chestnut UGG boots have been in high demand for well over five years. They can be worn with anything and keep feet warm through the cold winter months.

The typical New England girl sticks to classic pieces in neutral colors. Quality, as well as name brand, are important.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn
If you have seen this movie then you know that it's main focus isn't on fashion. One small detail that you might have missed is Bella's wedding shoes. As she walked down the elise in her ceremony she wore stunning, custom designed Manolo Blahnik's. This collection was named Swan after the leading lady herself, Bella Swan.

Sports Fashion

Christian Ronaldo, one of the most accomplished athletes in the world, takes a break from the international soccer fields to launch his new Nike CR7 Collection. “The CR7 collection reflects Cristiano Ronaldo’s distinctive style. For the first time alongside his Mercurial Superfly boot, Nike introduces a complete CR7collection blending the most innovative training and lifestyle products.”(Selectism)
2012 Fashion Trend #1: Neon Color Block
Chevron

Chevron has been popular in modern interior design and now it has translated into fashion as well.
This is an example of a more hipster take on the pattern.

This is a more subdued version of the print. The circular cut out in the back adds a visual appeal, while the bow creates more of an innocence to the dress.
